Some folks just need a footswitch that only does one thing. We understand! If you're looking to build your own footswitch for your amp, follow the RJ-45 pin assignments below:
NOTE: color code below is for EIA.TIA 568-A cables. Brown is always ground. Touch the other colors to brown to confirm the desired trigger function. The control current is 3ma which should be OK with any relay or active pulldown circuit.
For Mach 3 and OverDrive 202:
1. Boost – White/Green
2. Limiter - Green
3. Tremolo – White/Orange
4. Reverb - Blue
5. FX Loop – White/Blue
6. Ch 1-2 - Orange (Note: Mach 3 needs a 1K resistor in series).
7. Reserved – White/Brown
8. Ground – Brown.
For MicroPro 200:
1. Orange/White - Boost
2. Orange - Limiter
3. Green/White - Tremolo
4. Blue - Reverb
5. Blue/White - FX Loop
6. Green - Mode (*requires 1k resistor from Pin 6 to ground. Only necessary on Gen 1 MicroPro.)
7. Brown/White - NOT USED
8. Brown - Common Ground
