If you've attempted to update the firmware on your Elevate unsuccessfully and the web app states the firmware version of your unit is "0.0.0," it is due to there being an issue with the connectivity of the web app to your unit.


If you encounter this, take the following steps:


1) CHECK YOUR CABLE: Faulty USB cables, or USB cables that are longer than 3 meters will cause a failure in data transfer. Double-check that your cable is in working order before proceeding.


2) CHECK YOUR SYSTEM/USB SETTINGS: Check your system settings to ensure that "USB Audio" is not selected on your sound settings. The web app will not connect with your unit properly if this is selected.


In order to fix this setting:


1.  Go to Windows Settings > System > Sound.

2.  Under the "Input" section, select any input device other than "Elevate Audio."
